A Novel Perspective on a Not So Novel Virus (III)
Virus Novelty Myth - Asia didn't manage C19 any better, they simply had a higher level of mucosal cross-immunity - induced by higher population density - protecting their elderly.
This is the third and last part of the article. It underlines the fundamental advantage high density countries (Asia, Africa)) and areas had entering into this crisis as they benefited from a very large protective umbrella of mucosal cross-immunity. It also highlights the importance of dose contamination, and in that respect it validates the Grand Barrington Declaration’s view that protecting the most fragiles, notably in care homes and hospital was the way forward.

From the start, many have accused China of lying about their numbers. But one needs to put into perspective the driving forces of the COVID-19 pandemic:
immunity,
age,
and obesity,
and acknowledge that China has a radically different context.
