Thank you! It is difficult to comprehend that a person will believe that 1 + 1 = 3 if told to them by an Authority of Trust and will inturn tell others who likewise will believe as well. It would seem that for most people, they are hard wired from grade school on to trust those in power no matter the evidence.

My brother in law, a retired dermatologist - Harvard educated, Columbia trained, is a faithful devotee of vaccines which for him the science is settled. They save millions of lives and they’re safe period. I look at him as someone who always did what was asked of him, never once questioning the possibility that anyone in his profession could ever engage in deception. Certainly not the kind of deadly action your article is describing. I fear if I showed it to him he would just pass it off as anti-vaxxer nonsense. After all, if it were true, it would be all over The NY Times. And there would be plenty of other evidence in the New England Journal of Medicine.
